I always keep kale in the fridge. Its so nutrient dense and easy to prepare. My favourite way to eat kale is simply to sauté it with big chunks of garlic! Just a cup of the leafy green only has 40 calories but is packed with fibre, vitamins A, C, and K, and healthy minerals such as potassium, copper, and iron. Kale is more nutritious than spinach and can aid you on the journey to healthier nails, skin, and hair! So, are you sold yet? If so, do continue:
2 Frozen Bananas
2 Oranges, Peeled
1.5 cups of Kale (or more if you want an extra vitamin boost)
2 cups of Coconut Water (look for brands with no added sugar)
2 tablespoons of Ground Flaxseed
1 handful of dates, pitted
Combine all the ingredients in your blender. I really like my kale to be blended in well so I let it run until the consistency is smooth. This ratio usually makes 2 servings but as I make it for my full breakfast I usually drink them both muahhahahahaha …. Top it with what ever you like! I used some granola, chia seeds, and goji berries.
