With ingredients like cocoa, almond meal, and peanut butter, this nutty, chocolaty recipe serves as quite a treat to start your day with.

I usually like to have some kind of vegetable in my smoothies but alas, I made an exception here. I just bought a new cocoa powder and decided to give it a whirl. These ingredients offered such a balanced flavour! At any moment you will taste one of them and be consumed with all its goodness…. haha at least that was how it went for me. Especially when you taste the distinct sweetness of the manuka honey.

Ingredients (serves 2):

2 Frozen Bananas

1 c Fresh Raspberries

3 tbs Peanut Butter

1 tbs Cocoa Powder

1 tbs Manuka Honey

1 tbs Almond Meal

4 Medjool Dates

2 cups Coconut Milk

Chia Seeds to garnish



Wash the raspberries. Combine all ingredients in the blender except a couple of raspberries and the chia seeds. Blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more of the coconut milk to the mixture and blend it again. Then serve and Enjoy!
