I want to say a massive thank you to Bumble and bumble for inviting me to experience Curlfest with them! I am based in Los Angeles so spending a summer afternoon in Brooklyn, New York with my East Coast curly girls is pretty much only possible at Curlfest.
I started my day at the Bumble and bumble salon in Meat Packing District. Their stylists are AMAZING and have no problem working their magic on a vibrant head of curls.
STEP ONE
For my Curlfest look they started by shampooing and conditioning my curls with the Bb. Curl Shampoo and Conditioner. I was on day 3 curls and definitely needed the refresh.
STEP TWO
To style my curls, they applied the Bb. Curl Anti- Humidity Gel- Oil, Defining Creme, and Refresh Primer spray.
This trio of products works WONDERS on my curls. They have mini style tutorials on their site showing you how the products work with different curl patterns and textures.
STEP THREE
Once the products were applied, they began to set the style! I wanted to play around with braids and big curls. They gave me one big side braid and then diffused the remaining curls to make them volumous and defined.
